No having to extract the ISO's contents and waiting another 30 minutes for that to complete just so I could edit the ini. I was just going off of /u/dud3z's suggestion and it worked right off the bat. Once you've made the changes, Go to Options -> File Mode and select "Writeable" or else you'll have to save the whole ISO as a brand new file on your hard disk as opposed to just overwriting the one you're working on.Īnd, should you mess up, or it doesn't work, you can simply re-extract the ISO again, but it worked for me without issue, and I know absolutely fuck-all about hex code.
I found it easier to go to the middle panel with all the hex code and find the two 0Acodes, highlight them, and type in 3B as opposed to trying to highlight whatever characters they are on in the right panel and type in a. You see those 0D 3B 44 I've highlighted? Those are the hex codes for Return,, and D respectively, and the is the one we're most concerned with.
Keep in mind that that "musical note" is actually just the "carriage return" icon (or an indication of a line break) and needs to stay there (its hex code is 0D, as you can see on the left). It didn't for me, but it took me close enough to where I could see everything on the left panel it took me to the right section, but the correct character wasn't highlighted, so I just had to search for a few lines on the right panel to find where I needed to insert the semi-colon. Yeah, just use 74660f in wxHe圎ditor's "GoTo Offset" search function (and ensure the "Hex" and "From beginning" buttons are selected), then click "Go." It might not actually take you to the exact location, but hopefully close enough.
